for everyone
I was about to exit the Dau toll gate when an NLEX traffic enforcer stood over my path and held his arm high, signalling me to stop.   "Ow siyet...." I said to myself in disgust.   After rolling the car windows down, the traffic officer proceeded and showed me a list of car models and plate numbers around twenty of them, "I think this is you sir, silver x-trail and you posted 132kph in our radar gun".

Guilty!!  Never hesitated and never resisted the violation handed down on me.   Pulled my driver's license out of my wallet and asked how much is the fee for the speeding violation.  I even put the x mark on the admitted box, which was blank when I was about to sign the ticket.  Never knew there were radar gun-totting officers in that part of the NLEX.  Basta akala, mali talaga.

Its just disgusting that I have to retrieve the license in LTO central office in East Avenue.  Siyet.....Thats what I get to pay for missing work to watch Transformers and hurrying back to finish a task.   Time and fuel wasted just to get my license back.  Mixing business and pleasure is bad and I know that for so long.   Old habits die hard indeed.

Wow...never knew they use Radar in P.I...keni same thing mu rin pro ing fine is costly it starts at 300 and goes up depending on your speed (65 miles=104 km average speed is actually our max but in reality it is the average) + points keng driving record (3 points possible suspension) + increase in car insurance:( ...Might be a good investment to buy a radar detector, this is what we mostly use http://www.valentine1.com/ (the best in the market imho)...hope they don't use laser gun ( very accurate ), hard to detect and once you get nailed by it, it will be hard to dispute it but there are laser Jammer in the market that are pretty good too (illegal here in Cali and other states) but hopefully not in P.I...

oh yeah, PI is 30-40 years late in using radar guns? buti insurance keni is vehicle based. I dont know about driver's record here though, ....... penalty is P500 for reckless driving (where speeding falls under), but paid P1500.....dinalan naku mu fixer.....

We had a Vegas run a few months back...We did some top speed runs (60-180+ MPH) near Pahrump NV and the NHP and CHP were called out including the CHP airplane LOL...My buddy who was right behind us got nailed at 140+ mph by the NHP... all in all three cars were caught ( we were 15 cars) but they got the panalty/ fine down to a minimum and no cars got towed or went to jail (thank God) ... stricter fines and penalties are being implemented here nowadays...here's a great write up from one of the members...
