I was about to exit the Dau toll gate when an NLEX traffic enforcer stood over my path and held his arm high, signalling me to stop. "Ow siyet...." I said to myself in disgust. After rolling the car windows down, the traffic officer proceeded and showed me a list of car models and plate numbers around twenty of them, "I think this is you sir, silver x-trail and you posted 132kph in our radar gun".
Guilty!! Never hesitated and never resisted the violation handed down on me. Pulled my driver's license out of my wallet and asked how much is the fee for the speeding violation. I even put the x mark on the admitted box, which was blank when I was about to sign the ticket. Never knew there were radar gun-totting officers in that part of the NLEX. Basta akala, mali talaga.
Its just disgusting that I have to retrieve the license in LTO central office in East Avenue. Siyet.....Thats what I get to pay for missing work to watch Transformers and hurrying back to finish a task. Time and fuel wasted just to get my license back. Mixing business and pleasure is bad and I know that for so long. Old habits die hard indeed.
